Flaming Lips - best gig ever! 
Truck can confirm that I attempted to recreate a special part of the F'lips gig here at home - Wayne Coyne performed a song using a hand puppet - I recreated that golden moment using a sock - it was very special - did I mention that the f'lips covered 'Seven Nation Army'? with an air siren and new lyrics? fuck it was sweet....

 and they did a "rock" version of 'The Golden Path' that was way better than the version with the Chemical Brothers....
which is still great, although I doubt the Chem Bros contributed anything to it besides their name...
and they had a Ghostbusters-like contraption that blew up massive balloons that flew out over the crowd and popped, only to reveal heaps of smaller balloons inside...
plus all the people dancing in animal suits - the TV kiwi was there...
there was also some fake blood involved...
and a giant projection screen...
absolute, unadulterated euphoria - the likes of which I shall probably never experience again...
(resigned sigh....)
